Had a great time with friends at this spot! We were close to the beach and enjoyed some amazing cafés nearby. Check-in was easy, and the staff was super friendly. Ideal for a group getaway. Just a heads-up, the place is basic but does the job for a fun stay.
One downside was that the bathroom could use some updates. The fixtures felt old, and it didn't leave the best impression upon arrival.

The hotel's charming decor, reminiscent of a bygone era, really captivated me. The spacious breakfast lounge, with its lovely views over the square, made for a delightful start to the day, even for my old knees!
Easier access to elevators would enhance comfort.

we had a fantastic date night at the brunswick, and it truly exceeded my expectations. the previous hotel i stayed at in brighton was nice, but this time the family room was spacious and had a lovely shower that topped it all off. the location is ideal, just a short stroll to the beach and surrounded by local charm.

Quaint boutique style, with a lovely historic charm that makes it feel special. The honesty bar adds a unique touch, perfect for unwinding after a long day.
The hotel operates without staff, which can complicate your arrival. I had to wrestle with tricky access codes for both the front door and the key box. Rooms weren't refreshed during my stay, leading to a shortage of clean towels and basic essentials. Plus, the lack of curtains in my room made it hard to get a decent night’s sleep. I also dealt with a malfunctioning TV remote and late-night beeping in the hall—just adds to the quirky frustrations. When I reported water pooling outside my room, I was met with the request to film it for maintenance.

Staying at the Brunswick was a delightful experience. The location near the seafront offered charm, while the newly refurbished family room provided comfort for my child. I appreciated the friendly staff who went out of their way to assist us. A minor noise issue from outside slightly detracted from our peaceful retreat.

The hotel features a quaint building with distinct architectural character. The honesty bar in the lounge offers a unique touch, letting guests unwind with self-serve drinks in a charming setting.
The check-in process felt convoluted and frustrating, especially with an unexpected additional payment to access my room. Noise traveled easily through the thin walls, making it difficult to enjoy any semblance of peace. the lighting situation in my room was a bit sketchy since the main light didn’t work, leaving only the bedside lamps to illuminate the space adequately. The bathroom setup was awkward. the tub was more of a snug fit than I’m used to and may not suit taller guests. these quirks might not sit well with everyone, but they are just parts of the experience I found peculiar.

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway
We spent 1 night here and loved the vibe! The lady at reception was super welcoming and even found us free parking, which was safe and easy. The room was clean and fit our needs perfectly. It would've been better if we got the double bed we booked instead of two singles. Oh, and the outdoor dining area is a nice touch!
